On arrival to Tenerife as you descend to Renia Sofia you cant help but notice Pico del Teide as it dominates the landscape it sit in the middle of the national park and a trip on the cable car to the summit is a must on a clear day you can see the surrounding Canary island so when you are in Tenerife be sure to get out and about there a lot more to Tenerife than Las Americas.
